Crayfish are an important food source and are found in many types of water. Though mostly used to catch Bass, Crayfish flies are effective for most freshwater species. Carp, Panfish, Bass, Trout and many others are frequently caught on crayfish patterns. The Olive Fighting Crawfish Ritt's Fly is one of the most realistic crayfish flies available. The foam claws are buoyant and make the fly stand up in the fighting position. This is what a live crawdad will do before a fish eats it. This pattern is great to use for sight fishing and most anglers fish it with a quick two or three strip retrieve then allow it to settle back to the bottom.

Beetle, Crow
Beetle, Crow

Your price: $1.85
Beetles are an irresistable food to fish and they are around at times when there may not be other insects hatching. For this reason you can fish them blind or as an attractor on most water. Casting the Crow Beetle to undercuts or other likely fish holding areas will often catch large fish when other patterns won't.

Czech Nymph, Pinky Passion
Czech Nymph, Pinky Passion

Your price: $1.50
Another colorful fly in the Czech-Mate series of flies designed specifically for European or Czech-style nymphing, this lightly weighted fly works perfectly as the top or bottom fly in a Czech-style rig. Designed to be fished either above or below a heavier fly, the Pinky will roll along the bottom and entice fish to strike in faster-moving water.
